Life expectancy improves in Zimbabwe

In 2012 the life expectancy in Zimbabwe increased to 55.63 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 57.72 years and for men 53.36 years.

Zimbabwe’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 187th in 2011 to 186th in 2012.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in Zimbabwe over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2011, when it was 53.35 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2002, when it was 44.57 years.
