Life expectancy improves in Zimbabwe

In 2004 the life expectancy in Zimbabwe increased to 44.5 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 45.49 years and for men 43.5 years.

Zimbabwe’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 192th in 2003 to 191th in 2004.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in Zimbabwe over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2003, when it was 43.39 years, which is the opposite of what happens compared to 1994, when it was 52.59 years.
