In 1998 the life expectancy in Ukraine increased to 68.37 years.
That year, the life expectancy for women was 73.84 years and for men 63.17 years.Ukraine’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 108th in 1997 to 106th in 1998.
If we look at the change in life expectancy in Ukraine over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 1997, when it was 67.58 years, which is the opposite of what happens compared to 1988, when it was 70.5 years.
