Life expectancy increases in Portugal

In 2003 the life expectancy in Portugal increased to 77.5 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 80.8 years and for men 74.2 years.

Portugal’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 30th in 2002 to 29th in 2003.
