In 1996 the life expectancy in Armenia increased to 69.78 years.
That year, the life expectancy for women was 73.59 years and for men 65.82 years.Armenia’s position worsened with respect to the 193 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 84th in 1995 to 87th in 1996.
If we look at the change in life expectancy in Armenia over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 1995, when it was 69.31 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 1986, when it was 68.18 years.
