In 2016 Slovenia public debt was 31,677 million euros 35,063 million dollars, has decreased 394 519 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 79.7% of Slovenia GDP, a 3.4 percentage point fall from 2015, when it was 83.1% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Slovenia debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 8,204 million euros 10,301 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 26%.
According to the last data point published, Slovenia per capita debt in 2016 was 15,346 euros16,997 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 15,537 euros 17,241 dollars, afterwards dropping by 191 euros 244dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,081 euros5,142 dollars .
The position of Slovenia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 153 in the list of debt to GDP and 158 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
