CPI Uganda March of 2017

Ugandans CPI goes down to 6.4%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Uganda in March of 2017 was 6.4%, 3 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2017 is 1.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.6% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 11.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco of -0.6%, and an interannual variation of -0.1%.
