In 2015 Russia public debt was 196,257 million euros 217,748 million dollars, has decreased 46,663 104,971 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 15.94% of Russia GDP, a 0.3 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 15.64% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Russia debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 97,546 million euros 121,357 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 14.81%.
According to the last data point published, Russia per capita debt in 2015 was 1,339 euros1,518 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,661 euros 2,251 dollars, afterwards dropping by 322 euros 733dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 683 euros846 dollars .
The position of Russia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 13 in the list of debt to GDP and 75 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
