In 2015 Norway public debt was 103,302 million euros 114,613 million dollars, has increased 8,09111,874 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 31.60% of Norway GDP, a 4.30 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 27.30% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Norway debt. It has gone down since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 104,090 million euros 129,498 million dollars , and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 44.50%.
According to the last data point published, Norway per capita debt in 2015 was 19,847 euros23,644 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 18,429 euros 26,499 dollars, afterwards rising by 1,418 euros2,855 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 22,432 euros29,656 dollars .
The position of Norway, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 47 in the list of debt to GDP and 161 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
