In 2016 Poland public debt was 228,166 million euros 252,557 million dollars, has increased 12,48113,254 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 54.4% of Poland GDP, a 3.3 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 51.1% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Poland debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 131,104 million euros 164,615 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 46.9%.
According to the last data point published, Poland per capita debt in 2016 was 6,010 euros6,700 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 5,681 euros 6,414 dollars, afterwards rising by 329 euros286 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,439 euros4,219 dollars .
The position of Poland, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 108 in the list of debt to GDP and 138 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
