In 2016 Netherlands public debt was 434,090 million euros 480,494 million dollars, has decreased 6,462 8,298 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 62.3% of Netherlands GDP, a 2.8 percentage point fall from 2015, when it was 65.1% of GDP.

In 2015 it was 25,947 euros 28,854 dollars, afterwards dropping by 457 euros 643dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 15,876 euros19,933 dollars .
The position of Netherlands, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 125 in the list of debt to GDP and 171 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
