In 2015 Mali public debt was 3,652 million euros 4,052 million dollars, has increased 694122 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 30.91% of Mali GDP, a 3.63 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 27.28% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Mali debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 2,342 million euros 2,913 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 46.63%.
According to the last data point published, Mali per capita debt in 2015 was 207 euros230 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 173 euros 230 dollars, afterwards rising by 34 euros0 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 196 euros244 dollars .
The position of Mali, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 41 in the list of debt to GDP and 17 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
