In 2016 Kazakhstan public debt was 25,480 million euros 28,204 million dollars, has decreased 10,882 12,139 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 21.08% of Kazakhstan GDP, a 0.8 percentage point fall from 2015, when it was 21.88% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Kazakhstan debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 4,301 million euros 5,401 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 6.67%.
According to the last data point published, Kazakhstan per capita debt in 2016 was 1,441 euros2,282 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 2,056 euros 1,842 dollars, afterwards dropping by 615 euros 440dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 279 euros304 dollars .
The position of Kazakhstan, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 21 in the list of debt to GDP and 78 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
