In 2015 Kazakhstan public debt was 36,362 million euros 40,343 million dollars, has increased 12,2088,254 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 21.89% of Kazakhstan GDP, a 7.78 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 14.11% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Kazakhstan debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 3,714 million euros 4,621 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 8.1%.
According to the last data point published, Kazakhstan per capita debt in 2015 was 2,056 euros2,282 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,386 euros 1,842 dollars, afterwards rising by 670 euros440 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 244 euros304 dollars .
The position of Kazakhstan, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 22 in the list of debt to GDP and 96 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
