In 2015 Jordan public debt was 31,621 million euros 35,084 million dollars, has increased 7,5783,142 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 93.39% of Jordan GDP, a 4.34 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 89.05% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Jordan debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 10,133 million euros 12,606 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 100.27%.
According to the last data point published, Jordan per capita debt in 2015 was 4,163 euros4,620 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 3,242 euros 4,308 dollars, afterwards rising by 921 euros312 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,900 euros2,367 dollars .
The position of Jordan, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 165 in the list of debt to GDP and 122 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
