In 2013 Vietnam public debt was 66,561 million euros 88,400 million dollars, has increased 8,57213,896 million since 2012.
This amount means that the debt in 2013 reached 51.83% of Vietnam GDP, a 3.91 percentage point rise from 2012, when it was 47.92% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Vietnam debt. It has risen since 2003 in global debt terms, when it was 13,254 million euros 14,992 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 37.88%.
According to the last data point published, Vietnam per capita debt in 2013 was 742 euros986 dollars per inhabitant. In 2012 it was 653 euros 840 dollars, afterwards rising by 89 euros146 dollars, and if we again check 2003 we can see that then the debt per person was 164 euros185 dollars .
The position of Vietnam, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2013 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 104 in the list of debt to GDP and 57 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
