In 2010 Venezuela public debt was 80,863 million euros 107,200 million dollars, has increased 33,88541,675 million since 2009.
This amount means that the debt in 2010 reached 36.46% of Venezuela GDP, a 8.89 percentage point rise from 2009, when it was 27.57% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Venezuela debt. It has risen since 2000 in global debt terms, when it was 35,966 million euros 33,218 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 28.24%.
According to the last data point published, Venezuela per capita debt in 2010 was 2,835 euros3,762 dollars per inhabitant. In 2009 it was 1,671 euros 2,328 dollars, afterwards rising by 1,164 euros1,434 dollars, and if we again check 2000 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,474 euros1,362 dollars .
The position of Venezuela, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2010 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 65 in the list of debt to GDP and 114 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
