In 2015 Turkey public debt was 213,057 million euros 236,386 million dollars, has increased 11,58831,265 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 32.93% of Turkey GDP, a 0.59 percentage point fall from 2014, when it was 33.52% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Turkey debt. It has gone down since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 214,805 million euros 267,239 million dollars , and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 52.70%.
According to the last data point published, Turkey per capita debt in 2015 was 2,726 euros3,025 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 2,593 euros 3,462 dollars, afterwards rising by 133 euros437 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,119 euros3,695 dollars .
The position of Turkey, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 48 in the list of debt to GDP and 111 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
