In 2015 Tunisia public debt was 22,242 million euros 24,677 million dollars, has increased 3,771138 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 57.19% of Tunisia GDP, a 5.63 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 51.56% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Tunisia debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 13,580 million euros 16,895 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 52.42%.
According to the last data point published, Tunisia per capita debt in 2015 was 1,976 euros2,186 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,660 euros 2,205 dollars, afterwards rising by 316 euros19 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,354 euros1,687 dollars .
The position of Tunisia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 114 in the list of debt to GDP and 94 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
