In 2015 Qatar public debt was 59,806 million euros 66,355 million dollars, has increased 9,721183 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 39.76% of Qatar GDP, a 8.08 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 31.68% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Qatar debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 6,853 million euros 8,526 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 19.17%.
According to the last data point published, Qatar per capita debt in 2015 was 26,755 euros29,285 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 22,409 euros 29,772 dollars, afterwards rising by 4,346 euros487 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 8,347 euros10,396 dollars .
The position of Qatar, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 75 in the list of debt to GDP and 171 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
