In 2015 Morocco public debt was 58,073 million euros 64,432 million dollars, has increased 5,6035,274 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 64.06% of Morocco GDP, a 0.61 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 63.45% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Morocco debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 30,848 million euros 38,378 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 61.64%.
According to the last data point published, Morocco per capita debt in 2015 was 1,733 euros1,923 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,581 euros 2,101 dollars, afterwards rising by 152 euros178 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,022 euros1,274 dollars .
The position of Morocco, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 130 in the list of debt to GDP and 92 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
