In 2015 Mauritius public debt was 6,463 million euros 7,170 million dollars, has increased 1,13389 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 62.3% of Mauritius GDP, a 6.15 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 56.15% of GDP.

In 2014 it was 4,227 euros 5,616 dollars, afterwards rising by 890 euros63 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 2,271 euros2,828 dollars .
The position of Mauritius, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 124 in the list of debt to GDP and 131 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
