In 2015 Mauritius public debt was 6,079 million euros 6,745 million dollars, has increased 749336 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 58.6% of Mauritius GDP, a 2.45 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 56.15% of GDP.

In 2014 it was 4,233 euros 5,626 dollars, afterwards rising by 596 euros269 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 2,187 euros2,724 dollars .
The position of Mauritius, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 120 in the list of debt to GDP and 131 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
