In 2015 Liberia public debt was 719 million euros 798 million dollars, has increased 214127 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 39.21% of Liberia GDP, a 5.86 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 33.35% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Liberia debt. It has gone down since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 3,484 million euros 4,334 million dollars , and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 642.88%.
According to the last data point published, Liberia per capita debt in 2015 was 160 euros179 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 115 euros 153 dollars, afterwards rising by 45 euros26 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,061 euros1,322 dollars .
The position of Liberia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 72 in the list of debt to GDP and 10 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
