In 2014 Chad public debt was 4,116 million euros 5,468 million dollars, has increased 1,1571,538 million since 2013.
This amount means that the debt in 2014 reached 39.21% of Chad GDP, a 8.87 percentage point rise from 2013, when it was 30.34% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Chad debt. It has risen since 2004 in global debt terms, when it was 1,216 million euros 1,513 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 30.22%.
According to the last data point published, Chad per capita debt in 2014 was 303 euros402 dollars per inhabitant. In 2013 it was 225 euros 299 dollars, afterwards rising by 78 euros103 dollars, and if we again check 2004 we can see that then the debt per person was 138 euros172 dollars .
The position of Chad, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2014 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 73 in the list of debt to GDP and 31 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
