In 2015 Bahrain public debt was 18,514 million euros 20,542 million dollars, has increased 7,3635,727 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 66.01% of Bahrain GDP, a 21.62 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 44.39% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Bahrain debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 3,101 million euros 3,858 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 24.19%.
According to the last data point published, Bahrain per capita debt in 2015 was 14,308 euros15,881 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 8,795 euros 11,685 dollars, afterwards rising by 5,513 euros4,196 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,489 euros4,345 dollars .
The position of Bahrain, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 133 in the list of debt to GDP and 157 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
