In 2022 Ukraine public debt was 119,480 million euros125,917 million dollars, has increased 39,17730,877 million since 2021.
This amount means that the debt in 2022 reached 78.45% of Ukraine GDP, a 30.86 percentage point rise from 2021, when it was 47.59% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ukraine debt. It has risen since 2012 in global debt terms, when it was 51,309 million euros 65,963 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 37.54%.
According to the last data point published, Ukraine per capita debt in 2022 was 2,914 euros3,071 dollars per inhabitant. In 2021 it was 1,959 euros 2,318 dollars, afterwards rising by 955 euros753 dollars, and if we again check 2012 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,131 euros1,454 dollars .
The position of Ukraine, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2022 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 145 in the list of debt to GDP and 94 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
