In 2015 Ukraine public debt was 65,331 million euros 72,485 million dollars, has decreased 4,690 20,538 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 80.08% of Ukraine GDP, a 9.77 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 70.31% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ukraine debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 12,247 million euros 15,236 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 17.09%.
According to the last data point published, Ukraine per capita debt in 2015 was 1,534 euros1,702 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,638 euros 2,176 dollars, afterwards dropping by 104 euros 474dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 262 euros326 dollars .
The position of Ukraine, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 151 in the list of debt to GDP and 83 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
