In 2015 Taiwan public debt was 171,827 million euros 190,642 million dollars, has increased 20,66010,183 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 36.46% of Taiwan GDP, a 1.44 percentage point fall from 2014, when it was 37.9% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Taiwan debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 102,302 million euros 127,274 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 33.91%.
According to the last data point published, Taiwan per capita debt in 2015 was 7,314 euros8,116 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 6,451 euros 8,572 dollars, afterwards rising by 863 euros456 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,493 euros5,597 dollars .
The position of Taiwan, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 64 in the list of debt to GDP and 141 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
