In 2016 Swaziland public debt was 952 million euros 1,054 million dollars, has increased 277305 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 27.5% of Swaziland GDP, a 8.92 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 18.58% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Swaziland debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 383 million euros 480 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 14%.
According to the last data point published, Swaziland per capita debt in 2016 was 851 euros652 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 604 euros 556 dollars, afterwards rising by 247 euros96 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 379 euros420 dollars .
The position of Swaziland, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 33 in the list of debt to GDP and 58 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
