In 2015 Niger public debt was 2,671 million euros 2,963 million dollars, has increased 687328 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 41.3% of Niger GDP, a 9.38 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 31.92% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Niger debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 1,797 million euros 2,235 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 66.32%.
According to the last data point published, Niger per capita debt in 2015 was 134 euros149 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 104 euros 138 dollars, afterwards rising by 30 euros11 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 140 euros175 dollars .
