In 2015 Namibia public debt was 3,589 million euros 3,982 million dollars, has increased 1,273905 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 33.7% of Namibia GDP, a 10.08 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 23.62% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Namibia debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 1,582 million euros 1,968 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 26.05%.
According to the last data point published, Namibia per capita debt in 2015 was 1,460 euros1,583 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 964 euros 1,265 dollars, afterwards rising by 496 euros318 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 808 euros966 dollars .
The position of Namibia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 50 in the list of debt to GDP and 79 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
