In 2014 Dominica public debt was 323 million euros 429 million dollars, has increased 3344 million since 2013.
This amount means that the debt in 2014 reached 82.16% of Dominica GDP, a 7.84 percentage point rise from 2013, when it was 74.32% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Dominica debt. It has risen since 2004 in global debt terms, when it was 253 million euros 315 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 86.16%.
According to the last data point published, Dominica per capita debt in 2014 was 4,468 euros5,997 dollars per inhabitant. In 2013 it was 4,024 euros 5,243 dollars, afterwards rising by 444 euros754 dollars, and if we again check 2004 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,570 euros4,451 dollars .
The position of Dominica, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2014 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 155 in the list of debt to GDP and 127 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
