RTI Rating Panama

The transparency law of Panama has been in force since 2002 and with it has earned 100 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Panama is now ranked 41 in the transparency ranking formed by 136 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
