The Gambia is at the 7º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of The Gambia has been in force since 2021 and with it has earned 127 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score The Gambia is in one of the top positions of the ranking, as it is a country with a good legislative framework in relation to transparency and access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
