El Salvador is at the 12º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of El Salvador has been in force since 2011 and with it has earned 120 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score El Salvador is ranked 12, as its transparency law adequately guarantees access to information, when compared with other countries.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
