Bahamas is at the 36º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Bahamas has been in force since 2017 and with it has earned 102 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Bahamas is now ranked 36 in the transparency ranking formed by 136 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
