By 2015, suicides in Pakistan increased by 94 people to at 3,914 suicides In 2015, on average 11 Pakistanis committed suicide every day.

In Pakistan there were 1.99 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.51 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Pakistan has a low suicide rate compared to other countries.

Of the 3,914 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 2,086 were men suicides and 1,828 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 1.93 per 100,000 men and for women 1.77 per 100,000 female.

Suicide is a very important cause of death in the world and also in Pakistan. However, in Pakistan in 2015 there were there were 9,486 homicides, and therefore, number of deaths by murder is far greater than people to take their own lives. There were 2.4 homicides per suicide.
