Life expectancy in India is reduced to 67.24 years

In 2021 the life expectancy in India decreased to 67.24 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 68.89 years and for men 65.76 years.

India’s position worsened with respect to the 194 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 125th in 2020 to 137th in 2021.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in India over the past several years, we find that it is lower than in 2020, when it was 70.15 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2011, when it was 67.36 years.
