If we look at the minimum salary in Tenges, which is the official currency in Kazakhstan, we can see that, this year, it was 60,000 Tenges and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 17,500 Tenges per month from the previous year, 41.18%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 2021 which was 8.4%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.
