In 2016 Hungary public debt was 83,665 million euros 92,608 million dollars, has increased 3,2733,413 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 74.1% of Hungary GDP, a 0.6 percentage point fall from 2015, when it was 74.7% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Hungary debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 62,007 million euros 77,856 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 64.6%.
According to the last data point published, Hungary per capita debt in 2016 was 8,511 euros9,473 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 8,178 euros 9,221 dollars, afterwards rising by 333 euros252 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 6,160 euros7,359 dollars .
The position of Hungary, as compared with the rest of the world, has remained in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 146 in the list of debt to GDP and 146 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
