In 2014 China public debt was 3,205,885 million euros 4,259,018 million dollars, has increased 389,045517,973 million since 2013.
This amount means that the debt in 2014 reached 41.14% of China GDP, a 1.72 percentage point rise from 2013, when it was 39.42% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of China debt. It has risen since 2004 in global debt terms, when it was 549,968 million euros 684,106 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 35.22%.
According to the last data point published, China per capita debt in 2014 was 2,344 euros3,115 dollars per inhabitant. In 2013 it was 2,070 euros 2,749 dollars, afterwards rising by 274 euros366 dollars, and if we again check 2004 we can see that then the debt per person was 423 euros526 dollars .
The position of China, as compared with the rest of the world, has remained in 2014 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 89 in the list of debt to GDP and 111 in debt per capita, out of the 183 we publish.
