In 2014 China public debt was 3,206,833 million euros 4,260,278 million dollars, has increased 399,495531,853 million since 2013.
This amount means that the debt in 2014 reached 41.06% of China GDP, a 1.68 percentage point rise from 2013, when it was 39.38% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of China debt. It has risen since 2004 in global debt terms, when it was 549,968 million euros 684,106 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 35.16%.
According to the last data point published, China per capita debt in 2013 was 2,013 euros2,740 dollars per inhabitant. In 2012 it was 1,763 euros 2,310 dollars, afterwards rising by 250 euros430 dollars, and if we again check 2003 we can see that then the debt per person was 417 euros475 dollars .
The position of China, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2014 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 90 in the list of debt to GDP and 102 in debt per capita, out of the 179 we publish.
