Buddhism believers fall in Viet Nam

Buddhism is the Viet Nam's top religion, around 49% of the population. Majority of Vietnamese, 63.6%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Viet Nam population, has dropped to 63.6%. As to Buddhism it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 50% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 49% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Viet Nam, accounts for about 9.1% of the population.
