Christianity is the Malta's top religion, around 97.27% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.5%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malta population, has increase to 98.5%. As to Christianity it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 95.86% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 97.27% follow it.
