The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malaysia population, has increase to 99.82%. As to Islam it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 60% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 61% follow it.
The second-largest religion in Malaysia is Buddhism, accounts for about 19.2% of the population.
