Kazakhstan - Religions

Islam is the Kazakhstan's top religion, around 59.32% of the population. A very great percentage of Kazakhs, 88.48%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Kazakhstan population, has increase to 88.48%. As to Islam it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 51.17% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 59.32% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Kazakhstan, accounts for about 29% of the population.
