Maldivians CPI increased up to 3.1% year-on-year in February of 2017

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Maldives in February of 2017 was 3.1%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2017 is 0.8%

We must highlight the increase of 1% in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance, until its interannual rate reached 4%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -0.2%, and an interannual variation of -0.6%.
