The minimum wage goes up in Ukraine

In 2014 , the national minimum wage in Ukraine remained fixed at 110.3 € per month, that is 1,324 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

If we look at the minimum salary in Hryvnias, which is the official currency in Ukraine, we can see that, this year, it was 1,218.0 Hryvnias and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 84.0 Hryvnias per month from the previous year, 7.41%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 2013 which was 0.5%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.

If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Ukraine is in 73 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 94 of the list.
