In 2015 Serbia public debt was 25,457 million euros 28,245 million dollars, has increased 1,5213,555 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 76.02% of Serbia GDP, a 4.07 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 71.95% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Serbia debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 11,326 million euros 14,090 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 54.11%.
According to the last data point published, Serbia per capita debt in 2015 was 3,597 euros3,992 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 3,365 euros 4,460 dollars, afterwards rising by 232 euros468 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,525 euros1,896 dollars .
The position of Serbia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 148 in the list of debt to GDP and 117 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
