In 2015 Serbia public debt was 25,479 million euros 28,269 million dollars, has increased 1,5223,558 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 77.43% of Serbia GDP, a 5.42 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 72.01% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Serbia debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 11,326 million euros 14,090 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 54.11%.
According to the last data point published, Serbia per capita debt in 2015 was 3,601 euros3,995 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 3,367 euros 4,464 dollars, afterwards rising by 234 euros469 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,525 euros1,896 dollars .
The position of Serbia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 148 in the list of debt to GDP and 118 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
