As we can see, Greece's gross domestic product reached 242.096 billion euros (356,296 billion $) in 2008. A series of reductions has since taken place that have resulted in the current figure of 179.081 billion euros (238.023 billion $), representing a drop of 26%. But has the Greek government done anything to combat the crisis?
