The national minimum wage increase in Slovakia

Since June 1999, the national minimum wage in Slovakia remained fixed at €119.5 per month, that is 1,434 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

Accordingly the national minimum wage has been raised 19.9 Euros per month from the previous year, 19.98%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 1999 which was 5.6%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.
