The minimum wage goes up in Netherlands

Since June 2000, the national minimum wage in Netherlands remained fixed at €1,110.8 per month, that is 13,330 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

Accordingly the national minimum wage has been raised 18.8 Euros per month from the previous year, 1.72%. This increase is less than the CPI of 2000 which was 2.2%,and so workers, despite the raise, have lost buying power in the last year.
