Since June 2000, the national minimum wage in Estonia remained fixed at €89.5 per month, that is 1,074 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
Accordingly the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2000 which was 3.9%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Estonia is in 33 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 56 of the list.
